Track days and semi slick tyres increase the loads on the rear subframe and suspension.
To help prevent component failure in this area when subjected to track day cornering forces, Lotus recommend the chassis brace kit. This provides a 'double shear' mounting for the inboard ends of the rear toe links and spreads the load distribution into the chassis over a wider base.
The kit uses a brace bar along with uprated inner toe link joints to provide the extra strength. It is suitable for all Toyota engined Lotus Elises and Exiges.
The price for just the chassis brace kit is £760. If you would like us to supply and fit the panel, then the price is £870.00.
