The Lotus Motorsport Shear Panel is suitable for fitting to Toyota engined (4 cylinder) Lotus Exiges and Elises.
It increases the longitudinal stiffness of the rear subframe, reducing rear hub movement and increasing the contact patch of the tyres with the road, therefore increasing grip and maximizing the car's potential on track.
This shear panel fits underneath the engine/gearbox and connects the chassis and rear of the subframe at its lowest-most point. A simple bolt on modification for those who enjoy track driving.
