Uprated Brakes

There are a number of upgrades that can be done to the brakes of classic Morgans, with different approaches being needed for different ages and models of car.
Some ideas and guide prices are given below, but please contact us to discuss further and see what would be most suitable for your Morgan.
Pre 1992 Morgan 4/4 and +4 - change the front 2 pot brake calipers to 4 pot Hi-spec calipers with Aeroquip braided brake hoses and new pads. Price of parts only is £610 and the supply and fit price is £935.
1992 onwards +4, +8 and Roadster - fit vented 300mm discs, new pads, Aeroquip braided hoses and aluminium 4 pot brake calipers at the front. This is the set up as currently used by the Factory on the 'Babydoll' racers. Price of parts only is £1125 and the supply and fit price is £1,525.
The rotors (brake discs) are normally supplied plain faced, but these can be supplied grooved or cross-drilled for an additional £60 per pair.
