More Details...

The Plus 4 was launched in 1950, following the success of the first 4 wheeler, the 4/4. The 4 stands for a 4 cylinder engine, but with more power than a 4/4 hence the 'Plus'. Plus 4's are always powered by a 2 litre engine

The Rover engined cars were introduced in 1986, orginally the M16 built on a 4/4 chassis. The T16 introduced in 1992 is built on a Plus 8 chassis, giving a little more interior space. The engine is set further back improving the balance and handling of the car.

The T16 engine produces 134 bhp, and should not be confused with the MGF K series engine and does not suffer with cooling/headgasket issues. Pulls well and can easily return over 38 mpg.

This car has only had 2 owners and benefits from a very high spec, including the easy up Simmonds hood, and bespoke dashboard with white dials. (approximately £3000 alone for these extras)

The interior could do with redying in places and the dashboard stripping and revarnishing at some point in the future. The price has been adjusted accordingly, with an excellent interior the car would be over £25,000.

The chassis, valances, wood work are in good condition and the paintwork is very good. A great usable example at a good 4/4 price!
