Called the Healey 100 as it could achieve 100 mph when launched. The BN2 was introduced in August 1955 to replace the BN1 and came with improved suspension, uprated brakes and a 4 speed gearbox with overdrive
The last local owner has had the car for 46 years. It is supplied with a large history file with handbooks and invoices dating back to 1971. Full details of the 1993 restoration are included. This is a good usable example with a fine patina.
With a production run of only 12 months with most being built for overseas markets this genuine Right Hand Drive example is quite rare and comes with it's original Kent registration number. The engine is the original unit however the plague was lost during the rebuild. The owner has documented this.
The car drives well and is eligible for various events including the Mille Miglia
