Additional Information
The basis for the name '4/4' comes from the fact that the original 4/4, introduced in 1936, was Morgan's first 4-wheeled car with a 4 cylinder engine. For decades, the 4/4 was the main stay of the Morgan range and it has the honour of being the world's longest running production car!
Over the years, the 4/4 evolved with a variety of different engines and gearboxes featuring in the car and Morgan always selecting the latest and best units available to them at the time.
This example is the long door 1.8 Ford zetec powered version. There were 114 changes carried out to the design in late 1997 to allow for full European approval.
