Brake reaction stays stop the 'cross frame' on classic Morgans flexing under hard braking. This flexing in turns causes steering judder.
In case you're wondering what the cross frame is, very briefly it's an important structural part of a Morgan which attaches to the front of the chassis and provides bracing and the mounting points for front suspension and steering related items.
Fitting a pair of these stainless steel stays is one of the first recommendations when looking to improve the handling on a Morgan.
It is particularly important to fit brake reaction stays if fitting a big brake kit.
